Christmas Traditions & Cape May, N.J.

Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas day. I hope you are celebrating with family and friends, and enjoying the traditions that are important to you. Tonight my family will watch Christmas movies (my favs are Home Alone, Love Actually, and White Christmas), play a few board games, and wear our new holiday pajamas to bed!

Last weekend we traveled to Cape May and Sea Isle, New Jersey. Cape May is a beautiful, Victorian town approximately 190 miles from D.C. and a great place to visit in December. There are many quaint B&Bs and historic hotels and the town gets into the holiday spirit! We went to the Congress Hall hotel one night to enjoy live music, visit the Christmas village, and partake in the delicious hot chocolate bar! Since my family loves our trips to Cape May, I think a new family tradition will be to spend a few days there every December!

Merry Christmas!
