This year, I am not spending Mother’s Day with my family. I am here in California and just too far from everyone this year. It is sad to miss spending time together on this special day, but a thoughtful gift can go a long way! Hopefully, you have already thought this through or mailed a card as you are really running out of time to send personalized gifts. However, if you are spending the day with your mom, and time truly is a gift, you can more easily make something or pick up a lovely gift before Sunday.
Check out Glitter Guide’s fabulous recommendations here. I love the Lavender Turkish Towel, that perfect color blue KitchenAid Mixer, and the Plum Pretty Sugar frame. You could buy a beautiful picture frame and add a nice picture of you and your mom taken over the last year. Other ideas I love if you live close by is to plan a future spa day together, a cooking class, or afternoon tea at a nice hotel. I also saw these adorable glasses (below) from C. Wonder perfect for a mom with a beach or shore house that likes to entertain!
And to two of my loyal readers, I would like to wish my parents a very happy 21st anniversary! They are celebrating tonight with champagne at sunset and a romantic beachside Italian dinner. To many more happy years together! Cheers.
