My 101 in 1001 Days California Update

Due to travel and family issues, March and April were very busy for me doing things that kept me away from California’s beauty. However, my husband and I managed to squeeze in a few fun days of exploring. We visited Berkeley in April and I loved our visit there (#21). See my Berkeley recommendations for shopping and food here. I also have been frequenting the Stanford shopping center a lot lately as my new doctors are conveniently right across the street (#44). This is the most beautiful outdoor mall with my favorite shops; Bloomingdales, Drybar, Nordstrom, Pottery Barn, and Williams-Sonoma. They have stunning seasonal flowers, holiday displays, and plenty of parking. I have been to many shopping plazas in my life and so far this is my absolute favorite place to stroll and shop. This weekend we are planning a full day at the beach with the dogs, a picnic basket, and our new (and necessary) beach tent (#16). On Sunday, I plan to spend the morning in Los Gatos at Pure Barre and then walking through the Farmers Market (#6). You can find me enjoying a delicious fruit crepe, which will likely contain chocolate. Happy weekend to you!
