This week my husband and I celebrate our third anniversary. Time really does fly when you are having fun. It seems like it was just yesterday we were planning our wedding and future together. Three years later, it is wonderful to look back at the best day of our lives and reminisce. We had a destination wedding in Santa Barbara, which we could not have pulled off without the ultimate wedding planner Alex, and it really was a dream come true. We had an intimate wedding at a historic mission church in Montecito and then our reception was at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Goleta.
The weather was perfect and I just remember being so happy all day long! Surrounded by your family and friends, it is the best party of your life. I will share my wedding photos over two posts and then have gift ideas for the first, second, and third anniversaries later in the week.
Our wedding day started with the ladies getting ready at the hotel after a quick morning workout. We enjoyed a light breakfast while we had our hair and makeup done. My husband and the groomsmen spent their morning at a nearby house we had rented. I finished getting ready at the church, which was an emotional and joyous time. The church service started at noon and then we went to Stearns Wharf for lunch and photos before heading to City Hall. In the second post, I will share photos from the beautiful grounds of City Hall, cocktail hour, and our reception.
